Lion Dance in Box Hill.......

This is the third day of Chinese New Year. We are shopping for groceries at Box Hill when I hear all these noise of drums and cymbals and people cheering. Ahhh....it's the Lion Dance!!! A pair of beautifully crafted and colourfully decorated lions are strutting and dancing in front of the shops for good luck, urged on by a very exuberant crowd. The lions are flying and pouncing with the rhythm of the drum beat. The atmosphere is brilliant!!! The thundering drum beat and the clanging cymbals just get a bit too much for me, but still it is a wonderful experience!!!

Another Baby Party!!!

The season for celebration is ain't over yet!!! I was wrong, I thought Ava's party was the last one. This is Hailey's first, so I reckon she's the youngest in the pack. We had lots of fun, and it was also Australian Day holiday!!!

This blue cap is getting a bit small. Well, I don't usually like foreign objects on my head, now I am cool about it, my dad quickly snapped this photo! Normally, I would just prise the cap away the moment it landed on my head!!!

And to prove my point, I present you this cheeky smile!!!

Daddad come home???

I am waiting for my dad to come home. He went off to work, you know. At 5.30 pm I will be at the window waiting, looking out patiently (sometimes!). Is he home yet? What's the time now???

Look at the crowd near the water hole, you can tell that it was hot that day. We surrounded the pool and the children were excited and enjoyed ourselves playing water

..... and then we walloped the piñata for its hidden goodies!!!

(piñata - a brightly-colored paper container filled with sweets and/or toys. It is generally suspended on a rope from a tree branch or ceiling and is used during celebrations)

And thus concluded the babies' first year parties in our Mother's Group

You know, I'm exhausted, but happy!!!!!

My Favorite Fruits.....

1. AVOCADO - My all time favourite. It is buttery and soft.

2. BANANA - A close second. It is energising and sweet.

3. WATER MELON - Mouth-watery and juicy.

4. NECTARINE - Sweet and delicious, both yellow and white fresh!

5. ROCK MELON - It has strong aroma and taste good.

6. GRAPES - Crunchy and irresistable!

7. MANGO - Fragrant, succulent and sweet

8. BLUEBERRY - I can eat heaps!

9. ORANGE - It is juicy and sweet

10. KIWI FRUIT - Hardly a chance because it's dad's favourite!!!

Today I am feeling lucky so mom decided we go out for a walk and to the playground. The weather was perfect and I had all the playground for myself. I love the swing. Initially I was a bit apprehensive but being well secured and having mom at my side, I began to feel comfortable and confident. Ah! It was fun!!!

It was really baking hot today with temperature soaring to 37 degrees celsius. I was at Jackson's first birthday party. Fortunately, there was a outdoor inflatable pool and it was absolutely a welcome relief to get a dip in the water!!! I love playing water!!!
