Lion Dance in Box Hill.......

This is the third day of Chinese New Year. We are shopping for groceries at Box Hill when I hear all these noise of drums and cymbals and people cheering. Ahhh....it's the Lion Dance!!! A pair of beautifully crafted and colourfully decorated lions are strutting and dancing in front of the shops for good luck, urged on by a very exuberant crowd. The lions are flying and pouncing with the rhythm of the drum beat. The atmosphere is brilliant!!! The thundering drum beat and the clanging cymbals just get a bit too much for me, but still it is a wonderful experience!!!
